CD Antigen CD27 also known as Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 7 (TNFRSF7), which belongs to TNF-receptor superfamily. CD27 / TNFRSF7 is found in most T-lymphocytes. CD27 / TNFRSF7 is required for generation and long-term maintenance of T cell immunity. It binds to ligand CD70, and plays a key role in regulating B-cell activation and immunoglobulin synthesis. This receptor transduces signals that lead to the activation of NF-κB and MAPK8/JNK. CD27 has been shown to interact with SIVA1, TRAF2 and TRAF3.

Molecular Characterization
rhCD27 Fc Chimera, fused with Fc fragment of human IgG1 at the C-terminus, has a calculated MW of 45.9 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Thr 21. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 45-65 kDa due to glycosylation.

Less than 1.0 EU per μg of the rhCD27 Fc Chimera by the LAL method.

Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 50 mM tris, 100 mM glycine, pH7.0. Normally Mannitol or Trehalose are added as protectants before lyophilization.

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized recombinant human CD27 protein at 2 μg/mL (100μl/well) can bind biotinylated human CD70 with a linear range of 0.25 - 16 ng/ml.
