Interleukin 17 receptor A (IL17RA), also known as cluster of differentiation w217 (CDw217), is a pro-inflammatory cytokine secreted by activated T-lymphocytes, belong to ubiquitous type I membrane glycoprotein, and binds with low affinity to interleukin 17A (IL17A). IL 17R mRNA exhibits a broad tissue distribution, and has been detected in virtually all cells and tissues tested . IL 17RA associates with IL 17RC to form a signaling receptor complex for IL 17 and IL 17F . Ligand and IL 17RA ligation promotes T cell activation and the production of IL - 6, G-CSF, SCF, and multiple pro-inflammatory chemokines. Defects in IL17RA are the cause of familial candidiasis type 5 (CANDF5).

Recombinant Human IL17R /CD217 Protein (rhIL17RA) Leu 33 - Trp 320 (Accession # NP_055154.3) was produced in human 293 cells (HEK293).

Molecular Characterization
rhIL17RA, fused with 6×His tag at the C-terminus, has a calculated MW of 34.3 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Leu 33. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 55-60 kDa due to glycosylation.

Less than 1.0 EU per μg of the rhIL17RA by the LAL method.

>98% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4. Normally Mannitol or Trehalose are added as protectants before lyophilization.

See Certificate of Analysis for details of reconstitution instruction and specific concentration.

Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. No activity loss was observed after storage at:
In lyophilized state for 1 year (4°C-8°C); After reconstitution under sterile conditions for 1 month (4°C-8°C) or 3 months (-20°C to -70°C).

Immobilized Human IL17 /IL17A,Tag Free (Cat. No. ILA-H5118) at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well ) can bind Human IL-17 RA, His Tag (Cat. No. ILA-H5222) with a linear ranger of 0.3-10 ng/mL (QC tested).
